Your help in obtaining the Grail!
It's finally time! I have budget of $20,000 (planning on buying a used watch).
I'm thinking of getting the rose gold Yacht-Master II since it has to be sports watch. I'd like to hear your recommendations since I'm still not set on what i'd like to get... and it doesn't have to be a rolex. Let me know your thoughts! |

I think the ym2 would be a great choice.

For that much money I would buy either a gold Sub or Daytona (white or colored gold). Much better resale value than YM should you need to resell.

It doesn't really sound like you have a grail if you are asking for suggestions. A grail should be something you have been pining for a long time and have no doubt you want it over anything else.
Sounds more like you have $20k you want to spend on a watch, IMO. |

If you want rose gold than get that ym II tt. Altough i agree the resale value of ym II may not be as good as other sports model.

I love the RG on that TT YM2 and frankly would love to see more of them round here and used for $15K is a good buy. Otherwise a used YG GMTc is enormous bang for your buck for $20K.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'm leaning more towards the YM II and might pull the trigger on it tomorrow. I already have a SS Daytona in my collection and don't think I wanna get another one. Especially because the rose gold Daytona is out of my budget. I will keep you all updated.

Sounds like you made up your mind. As you can tell, many of us don't agree, but it is your money and your grail, so go for it.

I was just drooling over that TT RG YMII the other day. I do wish they made a TT RG Daytona. It's the only TT RG sport watch so there isn't much like it.

You're getting into pretty hedy territory with 20 k
As mentioned above if that's your Grail, go for it. If it were me, I'd save a touch more for a PP 5711 or WG Sub |

If I could spend 20k, I'd get a BLNR and a DJ2 and have two more awesome watches!
