What kind of adhesive for setting a pearl?
I'm about to ad a pearl I sourced to my 1680 insert and I'm wondering what kind of glue you folks use. Will a dab of krazy glue do the job?

I always thought pearls were just friction fitted?

Yes, I thought they were a 'click' fit but not all housings are new.

When new they were friction fitted. Over the years the plastic lip of the pearls have become brittle and do to the friction between the interface of the plastic and metal insert, it is not uncommon to have to use some glue from the backside to hold it in place.
