I'd say that I'm surprised with a new movement, RG YM with rubber-band, a 28MM Lady-Datejust and a 40mm DD. I never would have predicted it.

wompwomp.... I think we all saw them going 39/40mm with every watch, or at least I thought they would. the other watches they make are too small for some men (me) to wear so they are opening up the market to bigger people and lets face it, as we evolve as a species, we tend to get bigger anyway.... rolex is just looking at the next 100+ years as they should be, I mean, why not? there watches last that long or longer....

New base movements and titanium lined rubber strap. Both will be integrated into more references. Pretty good Basel imo.

Ok basically it's disappointing, apart from the new movement and the RG Yachtmaster that I find quite nice, didn't like the other YM very much, but compared to Patek which has at least 20 new or modified pieces this is very little, I was expecting a little better from the crown...

Rolex is not Apple, nothing expects to shock and awe.
The products are in line with their tradition, I am happy with the announcement.

The current lineup is solid and evolving, which is fantastic. Imagine they were like cars, with a new refresh every few years? We'll be flooding the used watch market every season and prices will drop.

I'm thrilled with the new movement, should it be like the parachrome spring working itself through the line. Incredible!

Not shocked but quite disappointed because I was expecting to see SS SKY DWELLER or something platinum in GMT MASTER II Series.
However, on bright side, it is great to see a brand new movement with lots of improvements

Pretty sure I said a few months ago it would be the Yachtmaster I that I was due. It was over due, however I had no idea it was going to be this different.

Not shocked, but pleasantly surprised. I think the advancement in the new DD mechanism is pretty interesting. I'm happy to see they redesigned the DD and made it 40 mm

The introductions on Basel 2015 are great. Great new movement and a stunning new DD.
Happy they left the tool watches alone.
