Thoughts about the new 114300
I am somewhat confused. I think that Rolex has launched the model Oyster Perpetual 39mm makes me think it is a test to soon launch the same model but "Date"? Or it may be because the 116300 did not respond with sales expected? There is already a 39mm watch is the Explorer 214270..that should be almost like the Oyster Perpetual.
Any thoughts? |

May be Rolex want to fill the gap of dress watch between 36mm DJ and 41 mm DJii which so huge for someone because 214270 Explorer i is sporty watch. So they launch new model of Oyster Perpetual 39 mm to respond trend of bigger dress watch. I guess.

Yes, I think the size of the new Oyster Perpetual is terrific, just not thrilled with the choices in dials. Hopefully more to come.

And there is the very real chance the DJ2 will follow suit from the DD40 and come down to 40mm, thus narrowing the gap between the OP39 even further.
