Sydney RSC
Hi all.
My '67 sub needs a service. Has anyone had experiences with Sydney RSC and their vintage pieces? Can they be trusted to only service the movement and not mess around with anything else, or is their an independent in Sydney that can be trusted. Thanks |

actually dropped by there today.
I have never tried their work and only for quotes. They do however insist that hands and crystal must be changed regardless of condition of the current pieces. They are ok with keeping existing dial and bezel insert though. Pleasant ppl to deal with and quite knowledgeable in my two experiences. |

Be careful before handing it over to anyone. Rolex in Australia are notorious for insisting on 'updating' old watches with new service parts. Seek some views from a couple of the Rolex oriented second hand dealers in Sydney.

I'm fairly certain Jed (Jedly1) swears by them, yes. I think you'll be good hands. Drop him a line and he will confirm. They do a very good job on the case refinishing, I gather; up to old Bexley UK standards.

Thanks guys.
Karl, Jed is from Melbourne (southern part of Aus) so I think we may have used the RSC there! |

OK, sorry - well that one is good with vintage, so I'd send it there anyway.

Thanks George - I knew the one J used was good with vintage. Look forward to seeing the results.
