Comments on 6263 sought
Hi all
http://www.grluxury.sg/product/rolex...na-ref-6263-2/ Am interested in the vintage daytona in the link above. Is it a big red or a service dial? What are your thoughts? Price is around 30940 USD. Comments appreciated! |

Not an expert but little red = service dial. Big Reds in very nice condition can still be found, so I'd wait for one of those instead.

Agree. The font on the registers also indicates a service dial.
The bezel is not a service one though which is nice. |

bezel is a mk1 ( correct for a 4 mill. ) but pushers are later replacements for sure.
would be interesting to know also 2nd and 3rd digits of the case number as in the 4 mill. range you find also replacement cases ... |

Marcello, are you sure it is a MK1? Never saw a MK1 like that one.

It's a nice watch any which way but at that price you want to see it in the flesh, photos can be very deceiving. Just as an aside check out this from the same website. Ugh! http://www.grluxury.sg/product/blake...-daytona-bnib/
I also like this one, beautiful presentation! http://www.grluxury.sg/product/audem...-oo-d091cr-01/ |

Marcello, I agree the "200" and Text looks quite OK but the 120 is pretty strange.
Maybe it is the perspective but I am missing the hooked "2" for a MK1 pic from VRF dial archive |

hard to explain in words so I try to show you a pic :-)
MK1 Bezel pic from Stefanos Blog: the "2" in "120" is totally different in my eyes but maybe it is black and blue and not gold and white LOOOOL |
