Dial is a big no for me and future scratches on the bezel will be a pain before long. So while I really like AP RG and RO/ROO this one is a 'no' for me.
Just wish it had a black/grey/anthracite dial and a ceramic bezel..... |

Nice piece. Have owned it in the past. You'll be happy with it.
PS : Don't get rid of your 44 steel. You'll miss it as although they both might be ROO's, they are very different. |

Tried on a 42 mm gold last week. Really nice piece!
The store also had the steel 44 mm, and that also looked good on my wrist. Both are, of course, heavier than my FC 44 mm. One reservation I would have is whether the gold bezel on the 42 mm would be more susceptible to scratches/scuffs. It looks great new, though. Have you considered the gold 44 mm? |

It looks and feels amazing, the plus is the open case back, 42mm wears better on me than a 44mm and the rose gold finishing looks amazing. So yes i would upgrade if i had the opportunity.

Thanks for all the comments, but they are just like me really split over this one,I should buy the rose and keep the ceramic,I know that but I'm not sure I would get the wear out of both.

I didn't really like this one in pictures either but seeing it in real life is another story. Absolutely beautiful, if you can find one!

Tony, you have a beautiful 44mm steel/ceramic, so is there a specific reason for wanting to go to the 42 mm gold? I ask this because I think the 44 is a total beauty and personally I wouldn't want to make this change.

I'm with Sam on this one, I personally would add to the 44 mm steel /ceramic if it's in the cards. I just love my 44 mm and to be honest, I too have thought about trading in my 44 mm as well, but in the end, I just couldn't do it.

Looks great (not sure about dial color) but for me, the biggest issue is as much as the RG bezel looks awesome, I know it will scratch. 44RG for me.

I believe once you mount it, you can't take it off.
It's absolutely beautiful.

It's a beauty but I also wonder about the gold dial, maybe too much, I guess it's up to you but I would choose if possible a RG piece but not with that kind of dial

I love it! If I was looking for a ROO, this would be first on my list / wrist!
