Nomos Glashutte Zurich Date
I have been looking for a dress watch for a while as my quartz powered Omega Deville had stopped working after 30 years.
I decided to go with Nomos Glashutte for its manufacture moment, clean look, and excellent workmanship from a small independent watchmaker. After some research, I went for the Zurich Date model: http://www.nomos-glashuette.com/the-...zuerich-datum/ I ordered the watch from a German store and it took about 5 days to arrive at my door in US. The order and delivery process went very smoothly without any issue. I am extremely happy with the watch. It came with a very simple black wood box with a black cleaning cloth and paper watch, simple German industry product design with quality. The case is sized at 40mm in diameter and 10mm in thickness. It comes with a black shell cordovan strap, which I switched to a brown alligator leather strap. On the wrist, it wears a bit larger, almost like 42mm. This probably is due to the design of the dial. The quality and workmanship of the watch is exceptional, with simple and clean dial and beautiful display of the automatic movement from the watch back. The movement in the Zurich Date model is the new Zeta movement with 42-hour power reserve. The accuracy is pretty good so far, –2 seconds (slower) in five days with normal wearing. I am very happy with the purchase and it’s definitely a keeper. Thanks CD |

Congrats OP. Nomos is a wonderful watch company that is turning out great values in my opinion. I have a Metro and love it. You can still buy directly from the Nomos site I believe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes, as others have said, a very nice piece, hope you enjoy it. I have been admiring this brand for a while, all the models have a very clean look. Glad you find it reliable, I'm going to give this one a closer look.
