Just received a new to me (06/13 on card) Tudor black bay red, glorious piece makes a great companion to my SubC, anyways two quick questions. 1) has the extra black nylon weaved strap, did they come with any tools in the box originally to remove the leather strap to replace it with the nato-like strap?. 2) I knows it's not cosc but in the 24 hours or so I've had it is running at about +10 ?. No tools and plus 10 is way too much.I've had mine for 4 weeks and it's plus 1 after 4 weeks wearing

Mines at +7 to 10 as well

The tolerances on the leather removal are tighter then a gnats ass. I use a jerwler to change from leather to bracelet. Put some end links on it from George/ Smarty Jones18 look for the thread. End Links make all the difference with leather.

Yeah, might get it adjusted by I live in a place where that could be difficult!! Happier it's fast instead of slow, but ten is too fast, have no real desire to change off the original distressed leather but you'd think they give you the beregon type tool seeing they give you the extra strap!?! It's in near mint condition paid $2700aud ($2050usd) so happy all round...

In the manual it says that the straps should only be changed by authorised dealers, which is very unrealistic. Then again, it also says that the leather and fabric straps should be kept away from water. So not the most practical dive watch really.

Really its says you can't wear the supplied nylon stap in water.I've never read the manual .so will it damage it if I wear it swimming on the fabric

Ehh... The ETA movenents arent the most accurate. For accuracy should've gone with an inhouse movement :D.
Dont think +10 is too much.

Not true. Tudor's Top Grade ETA movements like the 2824 and 2892 can be regulated to be just as accurate as a Rolex in house movement.

I'm sure it's consistent but I've actually never checked mine. Nothing I do needs that much accuracy or precision.
