New Wolf 2.7 Winder

Hey guys..

I just picked up a new Wolf Viceroy 2.7 single watch winder for my 116610LN.

Two quick questions:

1. I've read the the recommend settings for a Submariner in 650 TPD in the bi-directional setting. This would actually be a total of 1300 TPD when using bi-directional according to Wolf. Is this correct or do I set it at 325 for a total of 650 in the bi-directional?

2. Has anyone ever damaged their bracelet on the watch during removal or insertion? Kinda a tight fit.

I use 700 TPD, just saying, it's always worked well for my watches...

You don't need to worry about math, 650 TPD is 162 turns one way and 162 the other direction, etc, etc..

Great Winder. I also have a 2.7. You are correct. 325 would give you 650TPD in bi-mode.

Only problem is you can only make increments of 50. ie 300, 350, 400 etc etc.

Here how I've set mine. 400 for the Sub and the GMT so they get 800 TPD and my Daytona I'd set at 450 or 900TPD.

You can order a smaller cuff from Wolf or WatchWinderStation.com which is what I had to do for my wife's watch.

The other great feature is the delay. If you wear the watch all day. You can put it in the winder and delay the start for 6,12,18 or 24 hours.

I have mine set to come on at midnight. Remember the winding all takes place in a 6 hour period and nothing for the next 18 hours.

Here's the smaller one compressed. The number on the box is 456602. They come in grey or black

Haven't damaged mine. Just be careful when you insert the watch. Go straight in. Once in, I find that I have to push one side first and then the other. In other words don't try to push it straight in and lock it but go straight until you feel the resistance then push on one side and then the other. You'll feel the little clicks.

Ok guys…

I just ordered the smaller pillow from Wolf directly.. cost me about 24 bucks out the door shipped.

As for my settings I'll do 350 bi-directional for a total of 700 TPD. As I understand it.. a winder keeps the watch wound up and does NOT really wind it further. Is this correct and is 700 TPD enough for a SubC?
