I don't know what it is (is it a mechanical calculator from the 30's?) but I like it!

That monstrosity is an insult to the word "Horology"...even an ugly RADO on a NATO strap

would look prettier than that.

LOL! Certainly is....I've seen that strap a million times being posted on the previous forum we frequented. I've seen it in real life too....I don't think I could ever get to like the design or the concept.
