Congratulations! Gorgeous to my eye.

Would really love to see some side-by-side comparison pics vs the 214270.

Love love love!!!! The AD did not have one when I went, despite the numerous DD40s and even the YM RG

Yeah, they look awesome! I'm afraid of what might happen if I see them in person. Especially the blue.

Fantastic shots. Thank you. Definitely don't need but want so bad. And the rhodium looks like a perfect blend of casual and dress.

Beautiful! How does the build quality compare to say the Subs (specifically a Hulk). I absolutely love the look. Perhaps a dumb question, why is it so much less expensive then anything else from Rolex?

It has the same 3132 movement as the Explorer that includes the Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers, so basically a tank in a tux.

Less expensive because the movement does not have additional complications, hands, moving bezel, twin lock crown versus triple lock, water resistance only 100 meters, etc.

I was planning on only one luxury watch, my SDc, but now? Gives me quite a pause for consideration.

I was torn because pics looked great on Rolex site. Then I saw some live pics and I wasnt thrilled. I saw the first pic on here and felt the same way. Then the second set of pics! WOW!! Now that is what I expected! I think many people are waiting to see it in person. Loving it now!

I know what you mean--I think it's the markers. At some angles, the markers other than 3,6 and 9 seem to be invisible. The pictures of the watch at an angle helps to show the markers better, and it's gorgeous. I wonder how it is on the wrist--whether the hour markers are hard to see looking straight down at the dial.
