As a Firefighter I feel the same way. We have many Emergency Medical Response calls and they are usually to poorer areas. It is hard to show empathy with a Rolex on the wrist. I prefer my G Shock.

I wore mine to work but I didn't wear it AT work. It stayed in my locker. I didn't want it to get banged up in a fight. The city would only cover damaged / destroyed watches to $50.

The local paper wanted to do a story on police use of force and since I was the instructor, I was chosen. I met the reporter and photographer at the range and they took a couple of photos.

At Police Week in DC this past year I had a blast with some NYPD guys in the hotel. Talk about crazy mofos who just busted in our room to "hang out" with us! lol Great guys. I'm up for a NYC meet.

Read the newspapers my friend police officers are being killed at a alarming rate. Once police officers aren't safe what happens to the rest of society?

"Open season on Police" means we can't do our jobs anymore without harsch scrutiny from Liberals, who have no idea how real police work actually occurs. Also, Cops around the country are being killed, it seems on a daily basis. Unfortunately, these deaths don't make the cover of the major newspapers, nor do they headline the news programs. Proactive policing is almost impossible to perform these days, at least in big cities. There is far too much bureaucracy.

Yea.. You have definitely missed something. In fact you have missed a lot. Like witnesses that have purgered themselves and recanted, forensic evidence indicating the officers involved were telling the truth, grand jury and federal attorney general office reviews vindicating the officers.


Don't believe everything you watch on tv. In fact get out of the house and go on a ride along with your local police department or sheriffs office.

I knew I should have went federal. LOL!

After graduating the police academy in 1986 its too late to switch now.
