Rolex deepsea vs PAM305 (dailybeater)
Hello TRFers, i am in sort of a dilemma of choosing a daily beater already have a sub and some people know my situation with it ill probably be exiled and viewed as a witch for what i did with it. For my daily beater i dont mind about the size of the watch or the weight too much, If you have other suggestions feel free to post it but make sure its in a similar price range.

Tough one!! The PAM is more casual and very comfortable. The DSSD is quite large and takes longer to get use to.

Those are some expensive daily beaters :)
I agree with SearChart throw in the SD4k as an option. |

The Pam looks uncomfortable as hell with that giant wing hanging off the side.
I would go SD4K. |

I voted DSSD...but honestly the 305 looks really good on your wrist!
I would pick them both up pre owned! Plus then you won't feel bad wearing them as beaters |

Go with the DSSD! Coming from someone who originally brought the deep sea as my one and only daily. For two months last year I owned and wore a PAM364 as my daily and went back to the DSSD as my daily. Also wears very comfortable on a Rubber B.

DS is quiet heavy and thick. I find it inevitable as a DD.. Not sure about the 305 though

I tried on a Deepsea the other day, and as much as I have mocked and denigrated that model, I LOVED IT.
I might have a problem..... |

You are quite blessed to refer to either as a daily beater. They are both beautiful watches.

Pam.
Not a fan of the DS. What about a used AP Diver?

No James Cameron? That watch is beautiful with the way the black blends into the blue.

I tried on the 305 the other day, and it's a really cool watch. Too big for my wrist, but looks great on you. I'm not the biggest fan of skeleton hands, though. You'll probably be happy with either, but the DSSD may be a little more versatile, and would serve in place of your SubC. |

I've owned both and the 305 was a lot more comfortable than I expected. The titanium makes it extremely comfortable on the wrist for a watch of that size. Can't lose either way the 305 can be had much cheaper as well.
Good luck |
