vintage gmt from my buddy as well

hey everyone,
some of you may remember the thread I started about the 6536-1 that my doctor friend will be selling, you where all very helpful in giving me a price to start with and I appreciate it.
well he is also giving me his 1970 GMT master 1675 with movement 1570 and a 3,100,xxx serial to sell and I was wondering what a fair price for this one will be?
here are the quick shots I took at the same time as the shots of the 6536.I will take better shots before I put it in the for sale section as well.
just a ruff estimate would be nice.
thanks,
steve

so tell me you guys, what would a watch of this type run?
it has the original bracelet with very little stretch, and box but no paperwork.it has not been serviced since 2001 and it has never been over-polished.

anyway,I dont think it has the pointy crown guards.I was also wondering, arent guilt dials supposed to be really expensive?

Bit late for gilt and pointy crown guards. The example has a white dial and squared. Looks to me like the hands have been replaced sometime. The watch dates to the second quarter of 1971 as witnessed by the inside caseback. The dial looks quite nice.

I would say it could fetch around $5K as a ballpark figure +/- $2k.

It does need a service, and I think the rotor will probably be replaced given the appearance of the black spots. The dial looks great, and from what you say the case is in good condition.

Does the watch have a hacking movement?

Great looking GMT, Steven!

I did see a 1675 in a store for pre-owned watches in Denmark. The GMT was comparable to the condition and specs of the GMT you posted pics of. Price was DKR. 35,000 which is US $ 7,000.

Your friend might get a little less for it, though, since the store owner has to earn on the GMT 1675 he has for sale.

It's not worth anything. So I'll give you $25 just to take it off your hands.
