Aftermarket GMT Master Bezel Insert

Ok before you guys react, I just want to purchase one so I can put this on temporarily. I eventually plan to purchase a coke bezel from RSC SF. I already have a black and pepsi bezel, also know that they will keep whatever is installed so I plan to have the aftermarket insert when I go down over there.

Question is, what eBay seller has the best fitting insert considering that there are several?

Lastly, in the event I just go there claiming I have lost my insert, will they even offer a coke bezel for my 16700?

In any case, I don't think they will sell you a coke insert since that was never an option for the 16700 but some RSC's are more lenient than others. You might have better luck getting this done if you have a relationship with an authorized dealer (w/ watchmaker) who might not realize or care about the 16710 vs. 16700. Or pay a little more and get one from the grey market here on the forums.

Aftermarket GMT Master Bezel Insert

Why not just look for one for sale on the forum? You can find an oem one fairly easy.

Check with Rik at Time Care Inc, his price was better than I could find on Ebay.
Why would you say you lost your bezel if you didn't?

Because they will confiscate it

If you show up at the RSC in Dallas, and tell them "I lost my insert, or I lost my complete bezel assembly," expect to pay double the normal retail cost of a new one." It's been that way at the RSC in Dallas for quite a while now, and believe me, they've heard that line a thousand times and are very experienced in hearing the "I lost it" excuse.
