Both super watches albeit from different eras - possibly depends too upon what you are going 'to do' with the watch. The 1665 would certainly need a bit more TLC than the new SD!

I'm a vintage guy, so my quick response is the 1665. However, what are you looking to do with this watch? Parts on vintage watches are expensive to replace so I choose to wear my modern Rolex watches when I plan to be in the water.
