Tungsten bulb source from my desk lamp, two years past its prime Canon point and shoot ,in shutter priority, underexposed. What I do like about this pics is the atmosphere it creates. Also shows the painted dial well and the amazing depth of the dial on the 242.

That is one of the most beautiful Panerais I've ever seen. I truly love those pictures.

I'm now off to add this to my list where it will reside near the top.

Unobtainable from an AD.Only 300 made in 2006 ... thats it.Making it one of the fewest number production runs, from Panerai, especially since it was never a SE.Ironically, since only 300 were only made, its very limited.Unique,in the sense that its a 45mm Radiomir with a double crown and it features a very accurate Jaeger le-Coultre movement.Despite being a GMT with date ,it retains that open, inviting simplicity, that a PAM must have.

Can be found,at the moment, bnib in the secondary market @ around $9.5k.Now is a good time to go for it,because once those are gone,it may only be found used and the price may just be higher ..........

Sipho,

You are a man on a mission!! I would love to see your entire collection!

By the way excellent job with the Panerai posts. They are always informative and great to view! Panerai should pay you for your efforts

Have a look at paneristi.com.Click on "Collectors Market" .I have seen there ranging from $9.5-9.95K,for bnib. One however, was bnib, but it had the brown croc strap,NOT the honey brown croc ...which made me wonder !!

This is the OEM deployant gator for the 242 ...

There is currently a 242 sitting in my local AD's window.........it's been there since at least October 2007. I've tried it on at least half a dozen times, but decided in the end to go for its smaller cousin the 98.
Price is £5300.00. AD is in Norwich,Norfolk.
