By the way, one of Rolex watches is losing 2 Seconds a day. Is this normal? Does it have accuracy problems?

It's fine. The acceptable range is -4 to +6 seconds per day.

Well there are 86400 seconds in a day so your watch is showing a accuracy of 99.998%.Truth be told no purely mechanical watch will keep 100% perfect time at any price or brand close yes but perfect no.

A watch that is off by a minute is 99.93% accurate. Is is acceptable, absolutely not.

yeah, this scale is kind of ridiculous. I mean 99.9% sounds amazingly accurate.

As many others have mentioned, the best way to look at this issue (or non-issue) is COSC is -4 - +6 per day. That is the standard most modern Rolex models are certified for. As long as your watch run within those standards it's doing it's job.

My LVC is about -1 to -2 SPD also btw.

I don't think that was kingSubTT's point. I think he was saying that to base the accuracy of a watch on a percentage is misleading. 3 hundredths of a point, not only knock a watch way out of COSC, but make it horribly inaccurate.

My sub runs about -2 seconds a day as well. Although I'd rather it run fast than slow, I'm happy with the that.

My sub runs -2 seconds per day also, with crown up or down, or dial up. The only position I can get it to gain a second or two is with the crown on the left. And the only way I can position it that way is on my winder.

My 14060 is about -3 to -4 per day...and my 16234 is around +2 to +3 per day. Those results seem perfectly fine to me.

That is about what my BLNR is running now. I have stopped obsessing quite as much about it. I let it get about 30 seconds slow and then jump it forward a minute. Only have to do it about every 2 weeks and the watch is always within 30 seconds of the correct time. It is marginally more trouble than hacking a fast watch every so often.

My Hulk bought brand new April 2014 runs -2 seconds a day consistently. While I would prefer it to run fast, it is fine. Still within COSC specs.

I've been tracking my BLNR for 35 days on Watchtracker. It is running .7 seconds/day fast. That's amazing as far as I'm concerned. To the original poster, my watch ran a bit slow at first and has settled in at this + .7 secs/day in the last month. I haven't reset the watch since the day I got it, (2 months), and it is now 21 seconds fast. I'm not sure how long you've had yours but it may change a bit after you wear it for a while.
