just wondered how much heavier the gold submariner was over the steel version? twice as much? not that much? sorry i know i can google just interested in hearing from peeps that own one

About 150 gram for SS and around 210 gram for 18K

nice i'd never want a gold watch but as the submariner is the best watch in the word imo i'd love to try one on. Being how gold is softer than steel do you guys find it is more susceptible to hairline scratches?

Not so much on the brushed areas but def on the PCLs but that is true of SS as well. Go for the WG Subc, you only live once.
