Incoming...

I purchased my first Rolex about a year ago. I knew it had to be a Submariner. For the year or so of research and reading this forum prior to my purchase, I tried on 5 and 6 series references. I knew I preferred the newer ceramic models.

The tough decision for me was LVc or no date sub c. I ended up realizing, at some point I would own both. I decided to purchase the 114060 first. I liked the cleaner aesthetic, it's heritage, and felt the black would go with everything.

Well, as of yesterday, I am now the owner of both. Thanks to all those who post photos here for enabling me. My favorite pair.

...and now some obligatory photos.

different light, different look...

and again...

the pair...

Such a fun and playful watch!
I love seeing the dial in outdoor lighting, I could stare at it all day.

What a great Submariner combination. If I were to buy two new ones, it would be these.
