I'm really quite jealous. I just had my son's Ritz cracker with Nutella and it's probably not as good as your meal.

honest question, is there good sushi in dallas? nobu is good, but not typically considered a traditional japanese sushi bar experience. i ate at some top rated place in fort worth and was frankly underwhelmed. i hit the area only a couple times a year, but i'd like to know for reference.

Nobu has ever been "traditional" which is why they've been successful in practically every market they've opened (Paris failed miserably).

this doesn't answer my question. LOL i'm not knocking nobu, just looking for something else more suited to my tastes in the area.

I wasn't trying to answer your question, I was addressing your statement but agreeing with you. Aside from the original Nobu, I think it the rest of the chain isn't all that great.
