Ladies wearing sport models

My girlfriend is wearing my Submariner tonight while we are out and I really love the way it looks on her.

Do any of your wives/girlfriends wear your bigger watches?

Very nice!

I've always said the ultimate watch for a woman is a white face Daytona

My wife wears my 116610LN and I wear the 116610LV and every week I synchronise them, interestingly the LV only gains 2 seconds a week while the LN gains 6

It's pretty cool... My wife wears a 26mm but it works for her. I work with a few ladies though who sport larger watches and they do look pretty attractive.

Nope, she's too old to get away with a big watch.
On balance even when she was younger only a small ladies watch would've looked appropriate.

I did date a woman who had her own Sub as her only watch.
It was how we met and got together in the first place over a conversation about watches and we swapped watches briefly during the discussion.
Mine was a 16570 which looked better on her IMO.

Wife didn't like 36mm exp1 or Daytona on her wrist, she felt it was too big and masculine.

curious...with the increasing number women now wearing Rolex 'sports' models & most having inherently smaller wrists than men, why do so many male customers spend so much time pondering/deliberating over 2-3 millimeters when it comes to Rolex case size/dimensions?

I think the now 'old' Daytona is the perfect watch on women--think it actually looks hot on them.

But looks different...older one looks and wears small (and yes I owned one).

Women love them and I love women wearing them--that is what I'm saying.

Simple.

New one has a larger look to it and one I'm buying.

I surprised my wife with an NOS PT DD36 this past Valentine's Day which I thought looked great on her wrist. Problem is we soon discovered that even with all 6 extra links removed, it is still too large for her tiny 5.25" wrist.

Well, this morning just out of curiosity, da wife decided to try on my recently acquired Platona and she fell in love with it. She seems determined to keep it for herself, especially after a couple of her friends complimented her on it. And it certainly doesn't help my cause that her favourite TV personality (Ellen) sports a PT Daytona.

If my wife keeps the Platona permanently, I will have to flip the PT DD36 to fund a PT DD40 or a Lange PT Datograph Up Down. Stay tuned!
