I signed up the list for the white dial while browsing a mall yesterday. Wasn't told about my priority on the list but was promised delivery summer or late summer.

Why placed an order? Well, why not?

I'm getting both dial colors. Have both in the 116520 so keeping with the trend. I do like the white dial 116500 over the black dial, but both are unique in their own way.

I was told by AD they may start to come out very early maybe even by end July/ August which would be terrific if that was the case. For a long time I had such a Platona itch but I can honestly say that's finally gone with the SS White dial release as this watch is totally perfect a modern Daytona with non scratch bezel which was annoying in the previous version and I love the retro dial - superb!! Rolex home run

For all of the people on a "list", next time you're at your AD ask them to show you the "list" Have a feeling most won't really have one.

Many will receive one, while most will be sadly disappointed come the time.

If you're important enough to an AD, you're not on any list and it's just implied (through your 5-6 watch purchases last year) that you'll be getting one of the first two.

This will be fun. Like a country song, there will be plenty of heartbreak

This definitely will be fun...there is going to be a FRENZY for the new Daytona at ALL ADs...and as we've been through before (100% right Paul) these new references will be offered to VIPs at the ADs REGARDLESS even if there is a paper list somewhere (which most often not).

The ADs know before a 'list' even begins who will be offered any new reference (those individuals have no need to ask) --- and no doubt some of us here will be the firsts to have.

As far as timelines go --- for those select priority customers....they may see around August of Sept...other than that...after the first of the year (or later) would be my guess...

...this is going to be no easy reference to source in the near future...

Yeah, could be good to ask "which list" you are on....maybe first on the "when we got no one else list...."

I put in my order months ago when the Philipp first put out the "expected new look" which turned out to be spot on.

I'm well known at my AD, dropped a good bit of money there over time, but I also won't kid myself that if a bigger fish wants one, I'll be waiting for the next.

Fortunately for me, white seems to be the really popular one at the moment, and I'm after a black one.

Even though I called and got placed on some sort of "list".... I am thinking that my money is best spent on the previous version of it since its essentially the same watch.... At a discounted price...

I'm on two lists for the white dial. Contacted both right away and they called me back when they opened to confirm which dial I want and said they were getting a lot of calls though I was high up on the list. I'm a good customer at both places, multiple buys last year, but I don't have any delusions of grandeur. Many people spend much more than me at both these places.

With that said, I have a good feeling.

But after seeing so many excellent shots of the Black dialed version, I've changed my mind and called the AD back. He said no problem, and that he'd call me with the first one he got in.

I believe he will, seeing that he sold me the first SD4K he received and a BLNR one month after he received his first allotment of those. He's been very good to me over the years. I guess we'll have to wait and see, but I'm hoping they come in sooner then August. He said he has no idea when they'll arrive, but stated summer to end of summer as a good expectation.

I have registered interest with three local AD's, two said I'm 1st on the list which is what it is.. But I'm happy to wait I'm sure at some point I'll get the call in the mean time I'll enjoy my current three

On a plus side the longer the wait the more chance I won't sacrifice one of my current prices for the Daytona.
