Root beer nipple GMT

The root beer nipple dial 1675 is one of my favorite in my collection. I love the chocolate dial and the dual color gold bezel. And the jubilee bracelet make it super comfortable to wear. I highly recommend this model if you are considering to get the root beer. I am quite sure you won't feel regret down the road.

Please post your root beer if you have any. Cheers

I gotta say...I love my latest root beer (1972) as much as the last. They just have "that look" about them.

Thanks guys for posting and sharing your root beer. I totally agreed with you that root beer is a beauty. Look great with oyster, leather strap or jubilee bracelet.

Thanks, I love the old nipple dials. I also have a 16808 gold sub with nipple dial which is a beauty although it's currently looking for a new home as I prefer the gmt.

I notice that there are discolor around the hour index, are they patina or rust? The reason I ask because I can see mine start to develop something like yours. Not sure what is that...

It's patina. I was worried about the exact same thing you're watching develop. When I sent mine to Rikki for service two summers ago, he assured me that there's no oxidation anywhere and the paint on the dial is all there. 👍

Much happier with this one now that I found the correct bezel insert and had it installed.
