Last lecture

Came across the news that Prof Randy Pausch has passed away
I had the privilege to attend one of his SigGraph talks back in the 90's and he was a very good speaker. Here's his last lecture to his kids: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ji5_MqicxSo

I too had the good fortune that my mom left me a tape before she passed away that many years ago. Whenever I'm down I listen to it. That's the best thing she left me.

I hope you find his last lecture inspirational. RIP Dr Pausch...

Thank you very much for posting this. I just heard of his passing moments ago as I listened to the radio. What an inspiring lecture!

My wife watched his "Last lecture" and also read the book. She suggested I read the book also. I think I will.

Thanks for posting

Sean

Thanks for posting this. I had never heard of him but read a little article about his passing yesterday and was planning on looking for this when I had a chance.

My husband and I watched a documentary on Randy a few months ago and were so touched by his strength. What an inspiration he was.

We were so saddened to hear of his passing yesterday....I can't imagine how heartbroken his wife and children must be. An incredible loss indeed.
