On average, assuming nothing special is required, about £400. But there are a lot of variables such as does the bracelet need work.

thanks for the replies all. Slight dink in the bracelet and a couple of scratches from general wear. Will service sort these out? And will the dink cost to get sorted?

thanks,

thanks,
Rolex will sort all that out for you, the watch will come back looking rather splendid, and with a two-year guarantee. From what you have described, I'd take a guess at maybe £600 all in.
But don't worry, when you take it to a Rolex service centre they will give you an estimate. .

Most watchmakers are able to service a Rolex. However if you bought a Patek likely need to send back to Patek or swiss and servicing cost for Patek is high.

I paid £450 to have my Freccione serviced last year and that included a new winding knob and a new plexi. This was done at the AD who charge the same as Rolex.

Basic service costs start from £330, but largely depends on what model it is and how old it is. The service prices quoted are exclusive of additional parts, and if more work is needed, Rolex will send through an estimate of necessary and optional work

Check with Russell Talerman in London - they've done work for me on my Daytona. Good staff (certified Rolex technicians) and quick turn-around.
