Nothing interesting in here!
Just a few attempts with my new camera and Macro lens (Nikon D80 + Nikkor 105mm VR). Yep, I know, I suck at photography - all taken in "auto mode" ! If you look carefully (ok not that carefully because it's HUGE) at the 3rd picture you'll see the ding/nick I took out of the gold on the bezel between "60" and "Units per hour". Ah well, battle scars they call them, better than locking it away and never wearing it I say!

I think your photos are great, Russ. Beautiful TT Daytona, my friend. I love mine as well.

How do you keep the camera steady? Every time I go to snap a pic the focus changes and my pics blur out. Anything????

It has two important features; 1) VR, which is optical stabilisation, which gets rid of shake/blue. 2) Very good fast auto focus. Even with the above, you still need a fairly steady hand, but it certainly makes it much easier. Make sure you just push the button quickly, and don't hold it down "half way" which will lock the focus and allow you time to move. One quick fast motion is important. |

The TT Daytona blows the SS away IMHO. I don't understand why people pay as much or more for the SS, but to each his own. Nice watch.

Nice photos and looks like I will need to invest in a nice macro lens one of these days.

Yes, that would work.
You could try a $10 tripod and set the camera on timer delay.
