The Ron Burgundy Submariner

Was just watching Anchorman 2, and noticed Ron was wearing the 2 tone blue Sub when he was ice skating.
So, I am suggesting from now on we refer to the blue Sub as the "Ron Burgundy Sub''.
Who is with me.

Found a you tube video of that part, but no still photos.

I think "ron" in Spanish is rum. But I didn't know rum came in a burgundy color, maybe he meant "vino burgundy"...that would be proper for wine..

Are you guys kidding!

I don't know how to put this, but Ron Burgundy is kind of a big deal. People know Ron Burgundy . Ron Burgundy is very important.
Ron Burgundy has many leather-bound books and his apartment smells of rich mahogany.

He would never wear an Invicta.

Why are you doing this?

Bringing up all these soap opera characters when the thread is about Magnum PI?

Did he die? If he died then OK but if he wakes up from that fall then no, no Ron Burgundy Sub for me.

Actually that looked more like an Invicta and I would vote "yea" on a Ron Burgudy Invicta Sub whether he died or revived.

You know how to cut to the core of me, jban5. You’re so wise. You’re like a miniature Buddha covered in hair.

(If it is not obvious, am trying to use all of the quotes from the movie, in context to what was said, and in this case your avatar.)

To those who have not seen the movie or know who Rod is it seems that you are heading for the big padded house.

I think calling it the "blue Sub dial" will work just fine for 99% of us. Then again, another option would be from the man himself - Carroll Shelby - who favored blue. Referring to it as the "Shelby Sub" would be most appropriate for me.

Yeah but,
Ron Burgundy had a voice that could make a wolverine purr, and suits so fine that they made Sinatra look like a hobo.

Let's stay classy here.

Although, Baco Noir bares a striking resemblance to Baxter.
