Ultrasound cleaner?
Please can I have some advice if a domestic ultrasound cleaner is satisfactory to use for my Rolex?
I know when you get your watch serviced it is cleaned by a similar method. |

I also put a drop or two of dr bonners pure castile soap into the water, as it is more gentle than dishwashing soap |

you do need special fluid for cleaning, not just "add water and go" :)

I use one with a mixture of diluted dish soap and water. That gives me great results.

I heard not to use one for cleaning (I have one that I use for engagement ring and earrings), but I'd double check before cleaning a watch

It is not recommended for the encased movement. It's the best method to clean the bracelet as it will get to the grit that really counts - inside the link holes/pins where dirt causes bracelet stretch.

I mix a bit of soap with boiling water in mine. That really helps to loosen up the dirt from the bracelet.
