Rolex special 2 tone dial

Hi All,
I've come across the below 6422 with a special 2 tone dial. Does anyone know what dial this is and the history behind?
I'm very interested in this watch but it has already been sold. Anyone out there seen any posts selling a similar watch with this dial? Pls let me know.
Thanks!

As far as I know they didn't make TT 64XX Precisions. My 6426 has gold hour markers and hands in a SS case.

The hour markers on the dial are consistent with early 60's though, would be late 63 or a 64 model if all original id imagine.

So what would you say about the dial?

I's called a tuxedo dial, but that one doesn't look original to the watch.

Not having the watch in my hands to examine it, I would have to be pessimistic and say that it's a redial. Interesting combination, but still a redial.

I was leaning this way, but it appears to have a step on the dial which would be pretty hard to do on a redial I'd imagine, and its lumeless with matched lumeless hands, so I'm remaining optimistic until further and more clear pics can be shown.

That reminds me of the "bullseye" dial on the newer references. I've always liked that look.

I have seen a number of Tudor dials similar to this one, but not Rolex (not from the 50s). Also, the white is too white for me.
