1680 and 16800s are easily distinguishable. They have different crystals, acrylic vs sapphire, different dials and different bezel inserts.

For completeness they also have different movements, 1680 has the 1570 which is 6 bps and non quick set date and the 16800 has a 3035 high beat (8 bps) movement with quick set date. The 16800 is a great all round watch, perfect for everyday and with the matt dial gives a nod to the subs vintage past

Different fonts, ID/OD size and the 16800 has a pearl with metal surround and the the 1680's have the plastic pearl.

Simply put: look at the dial, if it says 300m it's a 16800 - if it says 200m it's a 1680
|
