Gmt bracelet tools

I want to put a 78790 in place of 78360 that came on my original oyster bracelet. What screwdriver set and bracelet remover is best?

Thank you for all input.

Joe

That probably has holes in the lugs.

Toothpick could do the job.

Maybe I don't understand the question, but you shouldn't need a screwdriver to change bracelets. As already said, if your watch has lug holes, a toothpick would work just fine. If no lug holes, the Bergeon 7825 spring bar tweezers work best, as they are identical to the expensive and hard to find Rolex 3200 spring bar tool.

The closest fitting, widely available size is 1.6mm (I think 1.7mms fits even better if you can find it). A lot of folks will tell you to find one with a hollow ground tip, also called a curvature blade (by Horotec), as it will fit the Rolex screw slots more precisely and reduce the chance of marring the screw heads. Also, if Loctite was used, you may need to heat the bracelet first to loosen it up before you unscrew the screws. Tons of threads about this stuff already.
