Time travel question
If you could travel through time, only once, would you go back in time, or into the future?

I would go back and start off in my junior year of high school again. Not a bill or a care in the world except drinking and getting laid I would only want to visit for a while, though. I guess I'm pretty lucky, I finally ended up where I always wanted to be, here and now

I'd go wayyyy back, Talking Egypt and the pyramids.
Language might be an issue, but that would be interesting.

No no!! You take your Rolex with you and wear it to impress the natives. Make 'em think you're a god or something. Anyone wearing a Rolex can claim that status anyway, can't they JJ...

Come to think of it, skipping ahead to Thursday might be the best bet. Get the winning Mega-Millions numbers and hurry back

Just running a scenario through, thinking out loud.
Picturing this.... JJ comes to visit, I tell my wife I am just going for lunch with a friend from the TRF. I come home with a shiny new Yammy. "No dear, JJ is JUST a friend!" "No I didn't give anything up for a present like this" "No, no strings attached" "No , no sheep attached either" Yeah, like she would believe me. Heck, I would be doing the same thing If the big one ever landed in my lap like that. Only one other thing I would have at the top of my list. Annonymously pay of our best friends mortgage. Just go to there bank and talk to the manager. That would be priceless. Dare to dream.

Time Travel - not yet

Take it from me the future isn't very good until you reach the 25th millenia when what remains of the human race becomes immortal. Interbreeding with alien races starts a bit later on around the 30th millenia. If you don't believe me, it's starting already. Look at some of the freaks in Hollywood today who have been surgically 'improved' and some of the replacement parts we can be fitted with. Growing an arm and other body parts genetically is just around the corner. The past can be fun. Mid nineteenth century is nice. Got you thinking hasn't it? |

I voted to go back in time so I could rectify some mistakes I made in the past. Also, so I could pick up some Paul Newman Daytonas for a couple of hundred bucks, and then auction them off in the present.
