"How does my hair look?" Silly question or what?

Guys,

I've got a wife with beautiful hair and 2 lovely daughters with the same. Fortunately, neither of the two fell on me.

But the question I keep getting asked very often is...

"How does my hair look, JJ?" (this from Zemina) and...

"How does my hair look, daddy?" (this from one of my daughters)

And the problem is I really don't notice at all. My reply is quite curt and prompt: "How the hell can you expect a guy who doesn't have a bloomin' follicle on his head to notice - of all the goddamn things - HAIR?"

So what should I do, guys? The ladies feel pretty hurt and down trodden 'cause I never take notice of their HAIR when they've been to the hairdressers. How do I get myself to notice such things?

JJ

Your wifes eyes are a little higher that there.
No seriously, this is a lose lose for you.
It's like the loaded question, "does this make me look fat?"
You cannont answer "No, the extra cheeseburger makes you look fat"
Make it a habit, everytime you admire your watch, look up and tell them they look "Marvelous".
Got to earn those brownie points big guy

What I get is AFTER they've been to the hair dressers, then they ask " Notice anything??'
Uh , Not really.
That earns me brownie points.

JJ, it's a guy thing. I get the same complaint from Arleen. But she finally apologized for being mad at me about my not noticing. She realized she changes her hair so often that I can't keep up with all the style and color changes. So now she doesn't even bother to ask.

Just tell your women that men have a genetic deficiency that prevents them from noticing women's hair after they have just come from the beauty shop.

It is better than saying it looks good and not sounding like you mean it.

It is a tough spot for you JJ, especially with all that estrogen running in that house. Maybe you should just make a comment before they ask, it could work.

Well, Paulie, I am bald by hereditary...on my father's side. If I actually made an effort to grow hair, it would just wind up as a white fringe just above the nape of my neck.

So to make things easy, I just shave myself completely bald with my trusty twin-blade Gillette whenever I shave my face!
