Turns out there is no change with your warranty

Basically a retraction from the videos that caused a little hysteria recently, apologies if I've missed this being posted already.

So he blames Rolex for his screw up, and offers no apology. What a guy.

I'm still in awe that Federico sat with a straight face and said all ADs will be photocopying warranty cards and sending them back to the mother ship...... then the fact people blindly believed is even more shocking ! I think it was said on one of the treads already, most of the Rolex OWNERS were not to concerned about this nonsense.

Soo funny! Yeah a manufacture of Rolex size is going to change policy from one day to the next. Man people are so ignorant. Warrany cards, internet print, AD training, press release, lawyers, did I mention lawyers. It would have cost them at least a few Million to change policy and them go back on it because it went "viral " HAHAHAHAHA!!! My goodness this guy need to be slapped! SMH!!

As I mentioned before its illegal in many countries if they did this. Manufacturers have a legal obligation.

David: "This was their plan; but I think [these past few weeks]caused so much stress that Rolex re-thought..."

Rolex: "David who?"

I didn't happen to catch Rolex panic-tweeting at 3:00AM saying "I'm sorry to all my clients, your warranty cards will still be good!"

But maybe I was sleeping.

David is the good guy in this situation. A bunch of other youtubers were claiming warranties were void. David is the one who cleared it up.

Not true...he was also one of the folks saying warranties are now void. I watched his video stating that last week.

Federico and others need to retract as well.

You mean Rolex isn't going to randomly start breaking consumer protection laws by redefining the meaning of a "full" warranty? That's shocking.

Have to agree the internet is a wonderful place for Rolex misinformation, trouble today many believe this rubbish as facts. Subject closed as this forum believes in facts and not what some guy on Utube states even if now rectified. And the only hysteria caused was by some who thought this Utube was true, and believed it and spread it round the net. By those that had little common sense to realise it could not be true, without something official direct from Rolex themselves.
