Rolex #1002 with Explorer Dial
Has anyone seen this watch or a watch like it floating around? There is someone selling a 34mm Rolex #1002 that has a refinished Explorer dial (see pics below). Would you consider this a "Frankenstein Rolex"? I'm curious to hear what the Rolex Enthusiasts on this forum think of this.

Is it really that small on the wrist? The lugs on this 34mm look a little chunkier than a traditional 34mm watch.

yep ,,, small ,,, i still have the 34mm case , i wear an explorer 11 at the moment , and love it , but side by side they are worlds apart , the plastic crystal on the 34 didnt help either , made it look very fat ,,, i would strongly suggest trying one on in person , they are hard to sell on too ... an ex girlfriend of mine just kept the one i had ,,, and i gave the grey airking face to another forum member to complete a project , so all ended well
