On the subject of cars.... what's your REALISTIC dream car?
So we have people in all age groups here. Some of us are just beginning their careers and some have accomplished a lifetime of hard work. With that said, do you own your dream car or is it still a dream!????
So what is your "REALISTIC" dream car? The car you hope to own one day. If you already own it, please share! Pics, specs, price, value, etc... |

A Saturn Sky. I've wanted one since they came out. I'm planning to get one as soon as my current car dies. Yes, I know it's impractical, but I've been practical most of my life. It's time for a little whimsy.

I ended up leasing the new mazda mx-5 for 2 years and I tell you, it is far superior in every aspect when compared to the GM roadsters. I think the solstice and sky are gorgeous cars but the fit, finish and engine are typical of GM. Also Mazda pretty much has dominated the budget roadster market for a loooooong time. They really have perfected the MX-5 with the latest generation. I gave it absolute hell for 2 years of ownership and never once did it hiccup. On the track, it demolished the sky and solstice. The new MX-5 top works fantastic, you never have to leave the drivers seat to lower the soft top and now a hard top convertible is offered. Just a thought, no matter what they are all great cars! but give the mx-5 a look! |

im sure a spanking new 911 turbo in 20 years will not look like a 997 turbo was pleased when porsche decided to go back to a "more traditional" style head light after the 996 model. |

To each his own, Chris. Red is fine, but not for the Porsche TT, IMO. The "Yellow Bird" is an historic car.

I'm more of a luxury guy. Don't care on super performance that much. A realistic car I could afford, but would never buy...

I always promised myself a 911 Turbo when I was young.
Now that I am "old" the whole idea seems a little cheesy so it's a no go for me.

This one (Aston Martin DB9 convertible) ever since I first saw one on a London street about 5 years ago.

My problem is I dont think I could ever bring myself to spend more than 20k (at current inflation value) on a new or used car. There are too many great cars of all kinds in that price range.
