Try a salt solution up the nose with a squeeze bottle. Works for me.

Fortunately, I've been healthy this season.

I need to get a flu shot ASAP, though.

I have an MD appointment on January 11th, so I can get one then.

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

Not sick here but I have treated a lot of sick people in the last few weeks. Hot tea with honey and lemon. I recommend Constant Comment by Bigelow or Lemon Zinger by celestial seasonings. Good homemade chicken noodle, wonton, egg drop or hot and sour soup by the gallon and some NyQuil (the preferred cough medication of southern men).

Most of this stuff going around is viral. If you run fever and a sore throat or are coughing up colored stuff go see your doctor or urgent care

Hope you're feeling better Greg.
I was up all night with heartburn. I'm feeling fine today just exhausted from lack of sleep.

I felt bloated as well, that's why I ran a half marathon yesterday and stopped eating anything full of sugar.

Everyone here has it. The closed down several schools in the area a week early to help stop the spread. Didn't stop the wife and I from getting it though so we've spent the holiday in bed.

To know the future is to be trapped by it

My girl has some nasty chest congestion and ungodly cough. It made us stay home and miss the big family dinner and visit. She and everyone else would have been miserable with the coughing. We have 16" of snow on the property and if it wasn't so beautiful I would complain. Ended up staying in. It was nice though with the Christmas movies. ;)

I hope you're all doing ok. Our 4 year old got the stomach flu on Christmas Eve day while we were at my sister's house in Nashville. It was a rough few hours (if you've had the stomach flu or have little kids, you'll probably understand) but all was ok by Christmas Day (thank you, Pedialyte). Little kids are such troopers when they are sick!

Have the same thing. Spent 2 hours at urgent care yesterday to get a script for antibiotics. I never go to the doctor but this thing (cold)would not go away. Feeling better today though.

Had a cold that I just couldn't seem to kick last few weeks, and I woke up yesterday feeling terrible. Went to urgent care and I have a double ear infection, bronchitis, and sinus infection. A z pack and an inhaler I'll be back to normal in a few days !

I've been sick for almost two weeks. Had one of the worst sore throats I've ever had in my life. Been on an antibiotic that my Dr told me to stop. I wasn't getting any better so now it's Z pack time. I feel much better.... now if my wife and older daughter could kick this thing we'd be all set.

Some soup with pepper will always do good for cold...
Strange thing I noticed about catching cold. Whenever someone was saying how he can't get ill, how he is healthy etc., right next day couldn't get up from bed. Same thing happened to me, twice, I was going around saying how everyone around me is ill, but I'm too strong, I managed to resist all 'attacks' of illness... next day I was miserable. Now I keep quiet about it...
Have to mention that sport is very important, not in closed space, but to breathe the air. Me for example, I ride bicycle, long distances, and when sport becomes a part of life, it approves health and changes life.

I was gifted with facial shingles (zoster) on Christmas Eve, rest of the family are snot factories. Shingles hurts like hell! Didn't stop me from a little bourbon tasting with a pal, couldn't leave the new Van Winkle 12-year just sitting by itself.

This year we were all good. Last year we were all sick. Last year my wife and daughter went up to my in-laws a few days ahead of me (I had a few more days to work). They came down with something up there. Right before I was to head up, I caught a stomach bug and was pretty much confined home to the couch alone at Christmas and several days after in front of the tv. I didn't see my wife and daughter until several days after Christmas. No fun.
