The best metallic watch bracelets in the market
Hello guys,
I wanted to start this topic to discuss with you the best metallic bracelets ever produced by watchmakers. I think that bracelets are sometimes neglected but I think they are probably the most important part of a watch (from an aesthetic point of view). It’s also interesting to see that many brands struggled to develop beautiful metallic bracelets because, although it looks simple, it’s so difficult to innovate on that part of the watch. For example, Hublot didn’t succeed in developing a nice bracelet and I think that is one of the reasons they don’t have many metallic bracelets and the few metallic bracelets they have are not so popular… Here is my ranking of my favorite metallic bracelets: 1) President – Rolex 2) Oyster – Rolex 3) Royal Oak – Audemars Piguet 4) Overseas – Vacheron Constantin 5) Jubilee – Rolex 6) Nautilus – Patek Philippe 7) Laureato – Girard Perregaux 8) Pearlmaster – Rolex I am interested to know what you guys think are the best bracelets on the market. Cheers. |

The best metallic watch bracelets in the market
Hublot started using rubber straps as far as I remember seeing add in the 80's. I'm certain it was a choice and not a back up plan to a failed bracelet
I don't really like bracelets except for Rolex so my top 2 are: The oyster The President My Panerai bracelets are solid and sleek but I don't think they compliment the watch as well as the straps |

While not necessarily the best or fanciest metal bracelet, this iconic brand had a pretty good run during the early 60s-mid 70s.

The Breitling pilot and navitimer bracelets take some beating believe me:

The breitling mesh is probably one of the best parts of any breitling watch

1. Royal Oak https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bh1Xww576Yc but with the new clasp not in the video and not really a fan of the Offshore bracelet unless its in Ti for weight reasons
2. Rolex newer Oyster with glide-lock clasp 3. Patek Nautilus (but the older one with screws instead of pins) and the clasp could be a little more robust |

The Tudor diver bracelet would show up on my list as well. And both the Oyster EZ Link and Glidelock of course.

Imho breitling has the best ss bracelets. The 5 link pilot and speed are fantastic. And the seven link navitimer bracelet is superlative.
They also really don't stretch or wear out. |

You're absolutely right. My chronomat with pilot bracelet has held up incredibly well after years of use and some abuse since 1995. No stretch either |

The Tudor Pelagos bracelet is really fantastic. It's a marvel of modern engineering, very comfortable, and extremely adjustable.

As stated by many in this thread, Breitling makes some of the nicest bracelets on the market. I really enjoyed the pilot bracelet on my chronometer Evolution when I had it.
