I bet you've never seen this Rolex before!!

I was watching a video on YouTube about a Rolex that was custom made for the president of the UAE and the crown prince(link at bottom). Seems to be a Daytona case. Rolex said they would release it commercially in the future. Does anyone know anything about this?.

That's a lot of pull with Rolex! The watch is ok but damn, to get Rolex to go off the deep end for you on only a 2 month deadline?? Wow!!

Rolex didn't, a modding company called Titan Black cobbled this up.
Horrible

I was just told that too by another member on another forum. The title of the YouTube video in Arabic said that Rolex made it. What you are saying makes more sense. I had a hard time believing Rolex would do such a thing. Never knew such a company existed. Pretty cool!

This one is as similar to Bamford watches and nothing to do with Rolex making it but it is also true if you have $$$ and right connections, Rolex has made 1 of a kind watch for some highly influential people. It is a fact!!

I don't think the light does anything. It's basically their names written in Arabic.

Can you please show us the video where Rolex said that?

That's a ruined Frankenwatch.

Yes, I've seen this before and I think that it's ghastly albeit interesting. Rolex themselves will never release this glowing dial type model. I'm not sure where on earth you got that idea from

Not my cup of tea but of the modded Bamford type rolexes out there, I actually don't hate this one. I can see the appeal to some and should they be interested in commissioning one, all the more power to them

Thanks for the link.

I liked the way that the interviewee talked with real passion.

Is the chrono function now only a 60 second one or just for activating the light around the name?

No, a lighted up write on the dial in such a beauty form of mechanical art.

Are you kidding me? This was absolutely not factory made and it shocks me that someone wouldn't know that... Titan Black, an aftermarket company similar to Bamford, did this. You can get one right now if you want, but in all honesty it looks absolutely ridiculous and tacky/trashy.

Horrible, but not surprising. The "let me see how tacky I can make something" mentality is a common theme and great source of pride with folks from the Middle East.
