Thinking about this for the wife...
What do we think? Almost a birth year watch for her, blue is not the first choice but it seems like a solid piece.
I'm no expert at all on women's models, so I'd appreciate anything that jumps out at those who are. Thanks in advance! http://m.ebay.com/itm/WOMENS-ROLEX-6...ATCHING_ACTIVE |

It worked for me ....
The same but different.
After a particularly good year of cooking and cleaning, I rewarded my beloved with a 6694. She is very happy with it. Be aware that this generation of Rolex for the women-folk are quite small. Perfect for my petite partner but certainly smaller than a lot of women fancy nowadays. File pic ...... |

Let her choose because if you buy it without consulting her, you will get it wrong.
Watches are very personal and only the wearer will ever get it right. Regards Mick |

Eh, get her a Cartier. That never fails.

"Almost" & "is not the first choice" in the same sentence portends a "miss" with the missus methinks. That jumps out at me without even looking at the eBay listing...just my 2¢

Very nice watch, well priced compared to others like it, zero corrosion, fat case, freshly serviced, what's not to love? At 1700 not the end of the world in any case. Although you must know, the first is a gateway drug to uh more. :)
An oddity about ladies automatics is that if they are worn loose like a bracelet they have a problem winding themselves and stop running which of course, as you know, will be your fault. :) |

Thanks for the input guys.
I suspect if I got it, it would become a base for tailoring to her liking. Dial, hands, bezel and bracelet/band(s) would be changed as needed. It did appear clean and well cared for. Seller seems solid as well. Any other input? |
