SS Daytona Ceramic looks great

Previously I have tried on the white dial new Ceramic Daytona,

Today I tried on the black dial, and I have to say I think I prefer the black. It wears absolutely beautifully.

Hope you like the photos, the white dial photo was taken a few months ago and the black dial photos taken today.

I liked the white and then the blue.

Who am I kidding? I think all three are home runs!

Ice Blue is amazing, you're lucky you are all sorted, no AD games for you.

Listen to me Nairn, don't beat yourself up about it. Buy both .......yes the black dial is probably the more stunning in person of the two. But the white gives you more of that Paul Newman feel. ( Even though Mr. Newman wore both colors in his Daytonas.)...Both are obvious grand slams.

Buy both? This is the UK....getting one is virtually impossible
The BLNR is my own....they have a huge list for them too, same with black subs.

...I prefer the white dial and would buy one if I could manage to even get on to a list!

think I might consider the black dial skydweller instead...

Please stop with the PMs lol

I don't have instant access to SS Daytonas, I merely have some good contacts who have let me see watches that have come in for people on the list.

I like the new Daytona Ceramic, but don't absolutely love it....so I haven't even joined any lists.

Wow, I can't tell if I like the white or black dial better - both look beautiful! I think the white one has a bit more "flash" but a black dial with white Rolex letters is outstanding. Congrats guys, great choice!

Fantastic feedback Narin! I've opted for the Black as it stands, but keep changing my mind, but I have heard from various people that the Black looks better in the flesh?

What's holding you back from getting your name down for one?

Thanks mate,
Having tried them both on, the black I felt was the nicest.

What's holding me back? Well I went on a list for a non ceramic SS Daytona before, got the watch but just didn't bond with it, it was the thrill of the chase I think. I was scared to scratch it and the lack of a date slightly irritated me.

If it was available easily at list I'd probably get one and give it a try, however you have to grovel to ADs for one, jump through hoops and all the games they play with lists is shocking.

As a result I'll happily handle one and admire one, but owning one with all the crazy hype just isn't for me.

I'm in UK too so will ask this as politely as possible....

How the hell did you get both together to try on?

The only one i've seen was through a 2nd hand dealers window at £15,000
