My new Seadweller...
My new SD. Never used with all papers, tags, tools and everything else. I could keep it in a safe as a collectors item but I will use it and be happy :-)

Beautiful! With all this talk about the new anniversary SD, we forget how cool these 16600s were (are). Last of the classic Sea-Dwellers, and definitely preferable to the SD4K, IMHO. Congrats!

Love that watch, great choice! It was between that and the 16610LV for my first Rolex, the LV barely won out. Looking at pics like yours makes me second guess my decision ;-)

I see you are wearing with a dress shirt and coat. Can I ask you how it wears as far as the thickness goes? Do you find it uncomfortable at all? Does your shirt cuff get caught on the edge or anything else that you notice? Considering getting a new Sea-Dweller as a potential one-and-only watch but I'm wondering about wearing at work where I wear shirts & ties most days. Thanks. |

How do you like the added weight? So you feel the added thickness actually improves the comfort? I have heard this before even though it seems counter-intuitive. I think I need to try one on (this model and the new 43mm version) |

That was my first Rolex, and my biggest mistake was letting it go |

Maybe I should say that this is the pre-ceramic version. Originally bought in 2007 but never used...
