SD still on Oct 08 price list

Looks like for the time being, you can still order a SD from Rolex. I thought the general consensus was that it was discontinued.
Thank you for all the future owners....give them a choice between this classis and the DSSD.

I remember reading in a thread yesterday that the classic SD was not in the newest AD catalog. This is interesting.

AD has confirmed Sea-Dweller does not appear in the new price list catalogue effective from Oct 1st.

Their chain of shops has completely sold out in the UK.

Perhaps the Sea-Dweller is in the US price book, but not the UK price book.

Probably a smart idea. If they produce 500 units in the V-serial, they can equip everyone who actually needs a Sea-Dweller ten times over.

I hope they do just for fun - I was mocked for suggesting a 'V' serial might show up on two previous threads.

Its the same as the original GMT-II. It was in the last price book even though it had officially been discontinued. It was listed in the price book but I don't believe it was shown in the dealer catalog.
The SeaDweller has been discontinued but its technically still considered a current model, that's why its in the price book but probably won't be in the dealer catalog.

OF COURSE rolex is doing one last run; I bet the SD 4k has never seen such popularity as it is now. They might as well cash in as much as possible.

Can anyone confirm if the GMT II 16710 non-ceramic is on the latest price list or not?

All, my AD volunteered last night that their Rolex Rep indicated that the SD is in very short supply. I already bought one from them - and they were simply reiterating that it was good that I got one at all and before the increase. As has been said before - with Rolex - you just never know. Just enjoy your watches and enjoy the banter...

What I've heard

Two AD's and the Rolex store in Orange County California told me that the SD has been discontinued. All three said what they currently have in stock is all they will get.
