Thanks and that Daytona...wow. Inquiring minds would like to know..what's your wrist size? Man that new SD looks huge next to the 16600....I know it's not flat on the table but that looks significantly larger.

Yes, it looks huge on his wrist, especially compared to how the sd looked on his wrist

Might actually be 41, unlike reports of it being 39 or 40

Nice. I love them all...I'll take one of each.

And just when I was starting to get my collection down to a reasonable number.

Man......I gotta tell ya.....that 16600 is super sexy! The new red SD really makes me appreciate the older SD models.

That new brushed steel (panda) dial on the Daytona is amazing!!!
Pity it isn't available with an Oyster bracelet option.....

Thanks for the photos. The Sea Dweller is really big.
I think the new Cellini with the moonphase is a very interesting watch.
Looks really great! Imho underrated.

The SD43 dial really looks matte in most of the pics I've seen. Can you confirm whether its matte or glossy? Thx

So this was an event at the Rolex Wempe boutique on 5th Ave in NYC. Amazing event, the hosts were all class and we all had an amazing time.

Sea Dweller - I've been waiting for this watch for a few years and was literally losing sleep last night in anticipation of actually trying it on. It doesn't feel as large as 43mm implies. Dial says black on the website but it's very similar to the previous SD4k in matteness. Overall the watch is nice but I have to say I was actually a bit underwhelmed, not by the watch on a standalone basis, but honestly relative to all of the other amazing offerings this year.

Wg Daytona- aside from the sd50, this was the other watch that I basically was drooling over. In person the watch is awesome. Sporty, slim, discrete, very very nice. That said, it was ever so slightly on the sterile side, at least to me. Can't really put my finger on it, but I can't say that I was 100% sold. I do have a Patek 5167 though, so maybe am subconsciously biased.

Skydweller blue dial- WOW. I wasn't a fan going in, but coming out it really left an impression. It was well balanced, blue dial was great, and it all just seemed to work. Annual calendar complication in a sport watch design that was comfortable and nice to look at. It really felt like a solid piece, home run in my mind, and before this I wasn't really a skydweller fan.

Cellini moon- double wow. I was struck by the amazing color contrasts and great fit. The watch is beautiful. What was also surprising was that it was surprisingly discrete for a rose gold watch. I loved it. I think the fact that the bezelnis almost nonexistent helps it come together in such a nice way. Well done Rolex!

All in all some amazing pieces. I came with certain preconceived notions of what I was after and left with something entirely different. I'll definitely be looking to pick up the blue sky dweller and Cellini moon!

Great pictures. Were you able to take the SD43 home since you purchased it or do you have to wait. Was there more than one to purchase.

No, the lugs fall within his wrist edges in the pic which will still have some distortion, so in real life it will be fine on him.
