Icon6 bracelet question

I've got a chance to purchase a Day-Date 36mm (YG) from a good friend at a more than reasonable price. White dial, roman numerals, only thing I dislike is its on leather. I'm not a fan of leather watch bands. If I get the watch it will have to go on a bracelet. What are my chances of finding an original Rolex President bracelet for the watch and roughly what could I expect to pay? Another possible route would be an aftermarket bracelet however it must be 18k, nothing plated in other words. Just looking at options and possibilities before committing to buy the watch from him. I don't want to pass up a good deal if I can get the bracelet I want without a ton of hassle however also don't want to have just as much or more tied up in the end than I did if I bought a watch already as I wanted it. thanks for taking time to read....

If this is DD that Comes on leather you're in trouble.

Just like Daytona on strap or Skydweller on strap - not bracelet compatible.

I guess Rolex feels like if you want the day date on a bracelet then you need to buy the day date on bracelet.

And that's exactly why I posted this thread. I did not know that....I'm not sure if the watch I'm interested in originally came on leather or the bracelet but I will certainly find out. Thanks Blue_Lume.

Find out the exact reference number. That, plus google, will tell you the exact original configuration. Even if it came with a bracelet, you might want to pass unless it's cheeeeeeeeeep. Buying a Presidential bracelet to add to a watch head is... expensive.

you would be able to tell by looking at the space between the lugs. if there is a big space, it came on a bracelet. if there really is not - then it's meant to be on the strap.

just google pictures of dd on strap. you'll be able to tell.
