Easy Question for a WIS...

Newbie question....

How do you say/pronounce "WIS"
  • Wise?
  • Wizz? Like fizz*
  • Weeez? like freeze

*my guess.

Thanks in advance.

Apologies to toph,

This thread (in which I started) has been hijacked by myself into a shameless self promotion for the newest and coolest social club on TRF, "The TRF Club for Stupid Limeys* (S.L.U.T.S.)". As you have already joined said club, I hereby say welcome!

I nominate toph to be in charge of beer inventory, as the position of chewing bamboo is already taken.

Anyone second this nomination?

4:20am to be precise.

Toph "keeper of the beer",

Do we have adequete supplies of beer for our Sunday to Monday binge? Art is brining the bamboo. Personally I am sick of that "papery" taste but he seems to like it. Could you also wake up Jimbits, I have a position open for him.

I've got one question. Do any of the other social clubs have a card?
I think not. Many will be jealous of our S.L.U.T.S. membership card.

You know how they say that life boils down to a few key moments? I think Im experiencing one of those moments, right now. Its a proud day for S.L.U.T.S. everywhere.

By the way Spark, dont forget to invite Bubba. He can be in charge of overalls and chewing blades of grass.

There can never be enough S.L.U.T.S in the world, so I think that it is fantastic that you have come up with a club for that.
Next you will be hanging around on street corners, exposing your Rolex's, enticing others to become S.L.U.T.S.

Power to the S.L.U.T.S.

i think it would be 'double you eye ess" only because its a general rule of thumbs when dealing w/ computers that 3 letters are pronounced seperate but 4+ you say them as a word.... for example "CPU" is "see pee you" and "SATA" would be "say tuh"

Steve, I would more accurately be considered a "wannabe" limey. Born a Yank, grew up in Hawaii, moved to Las Vegas. I have long been a fan of silly British Humor. Shows I grew up on include Monty Python, Are you being served, Faulty Towers or whatever was on PBS.

The S.L.U.T.S. board of directors has decided to grant you honorary membership into our fraternity. Invite sent. Let me know what title you desire and it will be so.

GHA, Upon review, we the parties at S.L.U.T.S. have granted you the title of: Primary Investigator Managing Parties or P.I.M.P. Invite sent.

Apologies to Art for overlooking a clearly obvious question that should have been asked.

By the way, Is it O.K. to wear your Rolex while performing your S.L.U.T. duties, such as climbing up trees?

Absolutely okay, Chris. Any character marks can be removed at time of next service, if you so desire.

Chris....I am honored to be considered as the official Primary Investigator Managing Parties or P.I.M.P. I am off to the mall to look for a oversized pink felt hat with a huge feather on it, along with a long "technicolor" overcoat. I guess that I will also have to secure a new, oversized, diamond enclustered "bling" Rollie to go with the new title.
