I wore my Seiko Shogun (titanium)white water rafting in Medellin yesterday. It's bracelet and clasp has some deep scratches now.
It's my "beater" dive watch, but those marks will forever tell the tale of white water rafting on the Rio Verde with three close friends. |

I think it's safe as long as you don't shower with it or get it wet later.

I think it is... Best to check this resource as many TRF Members have tested their watches in CrAzY situation that are questionable. https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=471941

Hmmm...looks pretty dangerous to me having it on a bracelet. Might want to throw it on a NATO.
LOL Have fun!

It's not safe. The salty air will corrode your GMT's aluminum bezel insert.

It's safe to fish with it also.
I have a scuff on the clasp to remember the 40 minutes it took to reel it in.

Boating is totally cool.
Sometimes when I wash my hands I rinse my 14060. Is that safe?

Its only safe on a boat if there's a beer in your other hand. Otherwise your not really boating.

A deepsea might give you better protection if you insist on wearing a Rolex in the great outdoors
