How do YOU clean your Rolex?

Regardless of the model and age (for the most part) of your Rolex,

a) do you clean your Rolex?

b) if you do, how? Do you run it under sink when washing hands? Put it an ultrasonic?

Thus far, in my limited collection, I rarely clean. But when I do: 1) ensure the crown s tightly screwed to the case before beginning, 2) medium bowl into which I mix ammonia-free soap with lukewarm water. 3) Use hands to apply the soapy water to watch. 4) Clean all surfaces by gently "scrubbing" (not literally hard) with a microfiber cloth or very very soft toothbrush, 5) pat dry/air dry.

What do you do?

I was just outside weeding I had my expII on so when I came in I washed my hands in warm water and soap and lathered up the watch dried it with a hand towel and its good to go

Once a month, using Dawn to make a bowl of warm sudsy water plus an old toothbrush and a clean, soft cotton, cloth/t-shirt.

After checking that the crown(s) are fully screwed down let your watch(es) soak in the suds for 10-15 minutes. Lightly scrub all surfaces with the toothbrush, especially the bracelets, getting in between all links then dry with the soft cloth...

Warm water running and I use a toothbrush and Dawn. Towel dry.

Easy peasy.

Only wash if I've been sweaty. Check crown, rinse, and use hand soap to clean all over. Rinse again and pat dry with microfiber towel and then air dry.

I wear mine in the shower when they start smelling and wash with warm, soapy water. Dry with fluffy towel.

Soap and water with a soft toothbrush. Rinse and microfiber it dry.

It's important to remove surface particles, otherwise if you wipe your watch without cleaning you drag those particles across the surface creating micro scratches.

x2 Also ensure cloth is free of dirt, grit etc.. I don't even dry mine. Straight on the wrist wet, or drip dry crown up until I'm going out. The watch being the last thing I put on and first thing I take off. Keep em minty.

I just open the clasp while washing my hands with regular liquid soap and get underneath and around everything - then rinse thoroughly. If it doesn't aactually come off your wrist, there's no danger of dropping it into the sink or worse onto the hard floor.

Rinse it off in the sink every month or so. I don't sweat much.

I use Wristclean a product created especially for cleaning Watches. It is an American Company & produces Microfibre cloths Drying Cloths & Spray Solution & having used these product's I can verify they work & are very reasonably priced. +1 A buddy works with them and gets product, and it's magic.

Use a toothbrush with hand soup and warm water. Us a blowdryer to dry it to get into those small spots in the bracelet.

How do you get the space between the bezel and lugs/bracelet? Mine accumulate small amounts of dirt/dust there.

Rinse it in the sink - that's about it.

Pour a large gin and tonic. Drop watch in it. When you've drunk the drink take watch out and air dry. Whilst it's air drying have another G and T. Job done.

Just cleaned mine, a quick wipe with a connoisseurs polishing cloth.
